The depository houses the museum's furniture collection, which comprises 214 items. The collection began in 1973 when the museum was gifted a two-seater wooden sofa from the 1960s. The furniture, which was used in residents' homes and later entered the museum's holdings, was made in workshops in Stavropol and Samara. Some pieces were donated by people who came to Stavropol from elsewhere to work on the construction of the Kuybyshev Hydroelectric Station. The museum depository, opened in 2011 by the local history museum, became the first open museum storage facility in the Samara Region. It includes visits to the collection exhibitions: 'Ringing History' – more than 500 bells are displayed here, including decorative and harness bells, tabletop, hanging and service (call) bells, made of metal, glass, ceramic, porcelain, faience, and wood. They are accompanied not by labels but by a card index that contains interesting information as well as recordings of the 'voices' of some of them. 'Speaks and Shows...' – here you will see televisions, radiolas, stereo systems, tape recorders, and radio receivers of various operating principles, makes and years of manufacture, from the 1930s through the 1980s.
