The exhibition features one of the finest arms collections in the North Caucasian Federal District — a collection of edged, defensive and firearm weapons from the 18th–20th centuries from the museum's holdings. The collection was formed over more than a century from many sources: the Stavropol Provincial Museum of the North Caucasus (G. N. Prozoritelev), the Georgievsk Artillery Depot, the Museum of the 83rd Samur Infantry Regiment, the North Caucasus Regional Museum of Mountain Peoples in Rostov-on-Don, the Zemstvo-City Museum named after M. V. Prave, the museum of the Stavropol hospital from the First World War period, as well as donations from veterans of the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War. Visitors can see both handcrafted and factory-made specimens, unique and mass-produced weapons. The display includes relics of military valour: ceremonial, named, trophy, hunting, ritual, decorative, duelling and many other types of weapons.
