“Sea of Possibilities” — the title of the Children's Museum exhibition alludes to the boundless opportunities that art opens up. The sea metaphor is used not only in the title but also in the architecture of the space. Young visitors of different ages learn how to visit an “adult museum,” discovering for themselves the world of art and its means of expression: composition, color, form and volume, line and silhouette, light and shadow. The curators combined several approaches — academic, age-specific, inclusive, and playful — so that children of any age, temperament, and with different interests can find something that appeals to them. Each section of the Children's Museum will be presented both with works from the Tretyakov Gallery (digital or reproduction facsimiles) and with originals of high professional quality by contemporary artists — Leonid Tishkov, Misha Most, Platon Infante, Evgenia Buravleva, Rostan Tavasiev, Viktor Glazunov, Alexey Tregubov, Daria Konovalova-Infante, Roman Ermakov, and the group “Blue Soup” (Alexey Dobrov, Daniil Lebedev, Alexander Lobanov, Valeriy Platkonen).
