Exhibition 'Sea of Possibilities'
About exhibition
'Sea of Possibilities' — the name of the Children's Museum exhibition refers to the boundless opportunities that art opens up. The sea metaphor is used not only in the title but also in the architecture of the space. Young visitors of different ages learn how to visit an 'adult museum' and discover for themselves the world of art and its means of expression: composition, color, form and volume, line and silhouette, light and shadow. Curators combined several approaches — academic, age-specific, inclusive and playful — so that children of any age, temperament and with diverse interests can find something that appeals to them. Each section of the Children's Museum will be presented both with works from the Tretyakov Gallery (digital or reproduction copies) and with original high-quality works by contemporary artists — Leonid Tishkov, Misha Most, Platon Infante, Evgenia Buravleva, Rostan Tavasiev, Viktor Glazunov, Alexey Tregubov, Darya Konovalova-Infante, Roman Ermakov and the group 'Blue Soup' (Alexey Dobrov, Daniil Lebedev, Alexander Lobanov, Valery Platkonen).
