About exhibition

The youngest city of Chuvashia, Novocheboksarsk, was founded in 1960. The price of progress and urban development was the disappearance of 13 villages united under the common name Shordan. The exhibition introduces all aspects of rural life on the territory of the future city. The number 13 runs like a red thread through the entire exposition: 13 villages, 13 destinies, 13 trades. At the center of the exhibition is a floor-mounted interactive map. Using a control panel you can highlight each village and read brief information. The exhibition has no equivalents in the republic.
