About exhibition

The main idea of the exhibition is to showcase the multifaceted legacy of Russian artists associated with the 'Mir Iskusstva' movement. The halls will display paintings and graphic works, sculpture, decorative and applied arts, and theatrical sketches created from the 1890s to the 1920s. Works from the Vyatka Art Museum's collection will complement pieces from the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan and private collections. Artists include Alexander Benois, Konstantin Somov, Anna Ostroumova‑Lebedeva, Elizaveta Kruglikova, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Konstantin Korovin, Igor Grabar, Boris Kustodiev, Konstantin Bogaevsky, Arkady Rylov, Vadim Falileev, Viktor Borisov‑Musatov, Natalia Goncharova, Viktor Vasnetsov, and others.
