Exhibition 'The Microworld of Anatoly Konenko'
About exhibition
A new direction in art demanded a radically different approach to creating, designing, and presenting micro-compositions. Optical instruments are required to view them. Anatoly Konenko often presents many of his works in a magnified comparison with insects, grains, or hairs, which highlights the uniqueness of each piece. A violin in a grasshopper's paws recreates a familiar poetic image, tiny horseshoes on a flea's feet allow the imagination to bring to life the scene from Leskov's Lefty, and a caravan of camels in the eye of a needle renders biblical lines at the edge of the impossible. This art showcases the boundless possibilities of human hands and imagination through creativity.
