The exhibition is dedicated to Nikolai Nikolaevich Urvantsev — a traveler, geographer and geologist, professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Russia, researcher of the Eastern Arctic, and an honorary citizen of the cities of Norilsk and Lukoyanov. Since 1919 his whole life was connected with the Far North. Nikolai Urvantsev traversed uncharted Taimyr routes for hundreds of thousands of kilometers, filling in blank spots on the maps. He is a unique figure and a true hero, and an interactive exhibition-game helps visitors imagine themselves in his role. It begins in an 'izba' — a composite representation of the pioneer's expedition bases. After completing all the game's levels in the izba, you can set out on your own expedition through the museum in search of locations from one of his two routes: the Khantay route or the Severnaya Zemlya route. Each location contains fragments from the diaries and manuscripts of Urvantsev and members of his expedition. The game focuses on tactics, thinking, logic, and humor.
