Exhibition "The Little International of Siberia"
About exhibition
Thanks to informational panels placed on the stands, visitors will learn about the Autonomous Industrial Colony Kuzbass — an international experiment carried out in the 1920s on the territory of the Kemerovo coal mine at the initiative of delegates to the 3rd Congress of the Comintern and the Soviet government. The main exhibits are buildings designed by the Dutch architect Van Loghem. Adults and children will see regional architectural monuments that have been preserved in Kemerovo on the Krasnaya Gorka site and are registered as objects of Kuzbass cultural heritage. Visitors will also learn about the history of the project The Little International in Siberia (On the 100th Anniversary of the AIC Kuzbass), which received recognition from the Russian Historical Society and won a grant competition announced by the History of the Fatherland Foundation.
