Exhibition "The Little Post Station — Witness to Great Events"
About exhibition
Visitors to the museum can take part in an engaging interactive program. Together with the guide they will delve into the history of the border town and learn interesting historical facts witnessed by the post station, which houses the Nevel City History Museum. Children and adults can not only view the exhibits but also handle some items, try on real bast shoes (lapti), put on a Red Army soldier's helmet and take a photo behind the wheel of a military motorcycle, or apply a bandage to a wounded soldier in a partisan hospital. Every three months the museum opens a new temporary exhibition. Children always leave happy because the events have a warm, creative atmosphere. Museum staff are always ready to talk with visitors, happy to hear their ideas and bring some of them to life.
