Exhibition 'Who Are You, Vladimir Ulyanov?'

About exhibition

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin) is considered the greatest social and political thinker of the 20th century. The politician spent a third of his short life in his native city of Simbirsk. Using artistic means, documents, and contemporaries' recollections, the exhibition presents the Volga-period of Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov's biography. Particular attention is paid to testimonies reflecting events from his gymnasium years, his interactions with comrades, and his attitude toward the Simbirsk community after the October Revolution. The exhibition is complemented by newsreel footage.
