Exhibition 'The Red House. Traditions and Heritage'
About exhibition
This exhibition brings to life the history of the lives and creative work of the artists of the Red House. The display organically combines painting, graphic art, figures for shadow theatre and puppet performances born within the walls of these studios. Visitors will be able to see books and the masters' personal tools captured in photographs, monumental works adorning building facades, and feel the warmth of family traditions reflected in photographs and short notes that reveal the personal stories of the artists who created Moscow's unique character. The exhibition space recreates the atmosphere of a home; the visitor enters an interior that carries the history of art from the early 20th century. Alexey Luka, an architect and artist, designed the interior as an artistic statement.
