Exhibition 'Mari Land'
About exhibition
The Mari branch of the Union of Artists was established on July 1, 1961. Its main focus is on improving the professional skills of its members and promoting their work. The art of masters working in various directions of the visual arts continues to attract viewers of all ages. Currently the creative union unites 55 members, including painters, graphic artists, sculptors, art historians and masters of decorative and applied arts. The exhibition includes works dedicated to topical themes, with subjects related to local history and landscape, traditional culture and interpretations of literary works, portrait images of contemporaries and diverse explorations in decorative and applied arts. Young artists — graduates from various years of the Yoshkar-Ola Art School and other educational institutions across the country — also present their creative achievements.
