The Benois Wing exhibition presents a large-scale and vivid picture of the development of Russian visual art from the late 19th to the early 21st century. The exhibition includes works by M. Vrubel, V. Serov, M. Nesterov, pieces by representatives of Neoclassicism (V. Shukhaev, A. Yakovlev, Z. Serebriakova), as well as artists who combined traditional and avant-garde techniques (N. Altman, B. Grigoriev). The 20th-century art display features works by masters of the Jack of Diamonds group, as well as V. Kandinsky, K. Malevich, K. Petrov-Vodkin, P. Filonov, Soviet art from the 1920s–1980s, and the work of nonconformist artists. Visits to temporary exhibitions on the first floor of the Benois Wing are not included in the ticket price. From April 7 to June 18, halls No. 70–82 and No. 89–94 on the second floor of the Benois Wing will be closed.
