The largest ethnographic exhibition since the founding of the Klin Local History Museum in 1956, featuring more than 200 of the most notable items from its collections. It reflects almost every aspect of the daily life and household of the residents of Klin and its surroundings 100–200 years ago. Visitors will see tools for processing flax and weaving, various types of wooden beaters and irons, learn what peasant clothing and the costumes of the more affluent classes looked like, examine household items such as clocks, icons, books, textiles, furniture and tableware, be impressed by the ceramics collection and hold a replica of the kubushka (a type of jar) displayed in the exhibition — the original contained a hoard dated to the early 17th century.
