Exhibition «Königsberg-45. The Final Assault»
About exhibition
The exhibition was created by the Nevsky Batalist team from Saint Petersburg under the direction of Dmitry Poshtarenko, the author of three-dimensional panoramas and dioramas. A three-dimensional panorama is an exhibition complex that combines a large-format 360-degree panoramic image of the terrain or landscape with a foreground of objects — originals or replicas and models made life-size. It is complemented by sound and lighting effects. Visitors will not simply be in an exhibition hall — they will be transported to the times of the Great Patriotic War, able to explore the ruins and step onto one of Königsberg’s streets, walk along broken cobblestones past barricades and ruined houses, through the interiors of an old café, by abandoned military equipment and fighting soldiers of the Wehrmacht and the Red Army. The participants in the battle — the sculptures of the three-dimensional panorama — will tell the story of the assault on the capital of East Prussia. Tickets under the “Pushkin Card” program can be purchased via the link.
