We invite you to an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of Russia, Honored Cultural Figure, and member of the Union of Artists of Russia, Konstantin Alexandrovich Prokhorov. The artist's work is very diverse and multifaceted, but the theme of Christianity occupies a special place. On this theme the master created a large number of works, for which he was rightfully awarded the highest honors, among them the Certificate of the Moscow Patriarchate. The military theme also holds an important place in the artist's oeuvre. It could not be otherwise, since Konstantin Alexandrovich was a participant in the Great Patriotic War. The reflection of the wartime era is embedded in many works, whose subjects reveal the martial feats of our people through the ages.
