Exhibition "Izobilny and the People of Izobilny"

About exhibition

The exhibition is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Izobilny. It presents the history and culture of the Izobilny District, introducing visitors to rare museum items, photographs and documents that tell about the founding and development of the district, its people and traditions. The display includes the "Book of Honorary Citizens of the Izobilny Urban District of Stavropol Krai." Sections are devoted to prominent residents of Izobilny: sculptor N. Sanzharov, People's Artist O. Meshcheryakova, honorary citizen L. Nefedova, Olympic champion A. Chemerkin, and scientists K. Demyanov and V. Pomytko.
