National identity is preserved for future generations, embodied in works of traditional applied art. The culture of Kabardino-Balkaria is very distinctive and colorful. By familiarizing yourself with the household items, weapons and clothing of the Kabardins and Balkars, you can gain an authentic understanding of these peoples, their occupations and history. The Republican Center of Folk Arts and Crafts is engaged in preserving, reviving and developing the traditional applied culture of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and invites you to visit the permanent exhibition of works by folk masters and artisans. The exhibition features works in various directions: felt rugs and panels, traditional mats, ceramics, dolls, handmade jewelry, burkas, papakhas, traditional wooden items, weapons and much more. The exposition is updated regularly. You can learn about traditional everyday life, order products from the masters, or buy souvenirs to suit any taste!
