The Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts presents a rotating intimate exhibition where you can see works by Don artists of different generations, starting from the first decade of the 20th century. This is a wonderful opportunity to become acquainted with works by the classics of Don art throughout the year. They include T. P. Semenov, P. A. Chernykh, B. T. Sporykhin, E. G. Charsky, A. S. Kulagin, V. F. Korobov, V. M. Klenov, E. Ya. Pokidchenko, T. F. Teryaev, and others. The works presented at the exhibition are a significant part of the museum's collection, which is constantly being supplemented with the most striking paintings and graphic works; they represent regional art within the general course of the country's cultural development and also reveal the distinctive artistic vision, techniques, and coloristic solutions of Don masters. Each exhibition brings together artists' works under a common thematic concept and is dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of the country and the Don region. Visitors will be able to learn about various historical periods in the development of fine art, about the work of well-known masters, and to become acquainted with new names and artistic trends in contemporary visual art.
