The exhibition consists of the sections 'Paleontology', 'Archaeology', 'Ethnography', 'History of the City' and 'Time of Heroes'. The last section of the exhibition is devoted to the events of the Special Military Operation and its participants. Each section is filled with very rare exhibits. The exhibition tells the history of the land on which the city of Nyagan stands, from the Permian period to the present day. For example, the paleontology section displays fossilized remains of marine creatures found on the city's territory. Special mention should be made of the model of the 'Siberian Troy' — Emdera, the capital of the Emder principality, and the model of the Holy Trinity Church of the Kod Monastery — a missionary center of Siberia.
