The exhibition "The History of the Soviet Period as Illustrated by the Yaiva Work Settlement" is equipped with exhibits arranged so that visitors can follow, step by step, the chronology of the settlement and its development during the Soviet period. It presents the establishment and growth of the forest industry, which relied on the labor of a large number of repressed people deported to this area. The construction of the Yaiva GRES, the rapid influx of workers, and the increase in enterprise productivity — all are vivid illustrations that, by the example of the Yaiva settlement, characterize the country's development during the Soviet era.
