Exhibition 'History of Orthodoxy in Siberia'

The exhibition is an authentic chronicle of the birth, formation and spread of the Orthodox faith in the Siberian region. More than 200 pieces of church art from the 17th–18th centuries were restored specifically for the museum. In the displays—small rooms and vaulted halls—multimedia technologies organically complement the theme with floor and ceiling projections. Visitors can see a map of the Orthodox expansion into the Trans‑Ural region showing its progress over time and experience immersive light and sound effects. The museum continues its work to acquaint residents and visitors with the cultural and historical traditions of Siberia, and actively assists educational and public institutions in addressing the spiritual and moral education of young people.
