This exhibition presents a collection of radio equipment from the legendary Berdsk Radio Plant. 'Rekordy', 'Baikaly', 'Vega' — more than one hundred models produced between 1947 and 1995. Visitors can not only see radios, tape recorders and record players, but also listen to records and audio cassettes on 'Vega' equipment. The plant's founding date is considered to be October 14, 1946, when the new Berdsk enterprise received the name 'State Union Berdsk Radio Plant'. In 1985 the plant was reorganized into the production association 'Vega'. It was the town's first city-forming enterprise. The plant produced 35% of all domestic radio products. In 2000, at an international exhibition in Madrid, the plant was awarded the prize 'Winner of Golden Quality and Brilliant Business'. But there was no one to receive it because in 1998 the enterprise was declared bankrupt, and in 2001 it was liquidated.
