Exhibition 'History of the region from 1589 to the beginning of the 20th century'
About exhibition
Visitors will be able to see old documents, household items, clothing and weaponry from the Tsaritsyn era, and learn legends about the origin of the city's name. Unique exhibits of the exhibition include a kartuz (peaked cap) and the cane of Peter I, who visited the city three times, and much more. Recreated interiors of a merchant's drawing room and a music salon will help visitors imagine themselves as residents of Tsaritsyn.
