The exhibition tells the history of the Timashevsky District from the settlement of the Kuban by the Black Sea Cossacks up to the beginning of World War II. You will see photographs and documents recounting the service of the Cossacks, the founding of the Convent of St. Mary Magdalene, girls' gymnasiums, and parish schools. The most valuable document in the exhibition is the passport of M. N. Stepanov, the head of the family. Thanks to it, museum staff were able to establish the exact date of birth of E. F. Stepanova. The exhibition fosters patriotic feelings, develops interest in the history of the native land, and promotes the preservation of Cossack traditions. The exhibition is also aimed at preschool children and primary school pupils. It will resonate deeply with children and with everyone interested in history.
