The exhibition 'Ishim during the Great Patriotic War' tells how the people of Ishim lived, what they ate and how children were educated during the Great Patriotic War. It features unique exhibits, the complete equipment of soldiers from the 384th and 229th Rifle Divisions, and archival documents. Visitors will learn details about the formation and the tragic fate of the members of the 229th and 384th Rifle Divisions, which were formed near Ishim in the Sinitsynsky pine forest. Items illustrating everyday life in wartime Ishim are on display, as well as samples of products from a shoe factory evacuated to the city. The exhibition concludes with an impressive 'Wall of Memory' made up of photographs of front-line soldiers.
