Exhibition 'Illarion Ivanov-Shits. Half a Century in the Service of Moscow'

The museum will host an exhibition dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of architect Illarion Ivanov-Shits. The museum owns a unique collection of the architect's architectural graphics. The collection includes design drawings, albums with sketches and studies, stencils and photostats. Highlights of the collection are masterfully executed watercolors of facades, interiors, furniture, lighting fixtures and objects of decorative and applied art, as well as photographs of the architect's buildings and plaster models of structures. The exhibition will also feature selected works from the collections of museums in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and documents from the architect's family. The exhibition will take place in the Anfilade. Admission requires purchasing a single ticket that grants access to all current museum exhibitions.
