Exhibition 'Artists of Volgograd'
About exhibition
Introducing teenagers and young people to the fascinating world of painting through the classical landscapes and imaginative canvases of Volgograd painters Vladimir Nikolaevich Sholokh, Nadia Bakhtiguzina, Valeria Zaitseva, Yulia Vostrikova and others. Vladimir Nikolaevich Sholokh dislikes 'depressive' art, believing an artist's mission is to bring people joy and uplifting thoughts. His manner is easily recognizable, yet he continually surprises with a variety of themes, motifs and images. He can paint realistically convincing landscapes and also create romantic works. At times he is ironic, for nothing escapes the artist's gaze. The exhibition is also notable because, in addition to Valeria Zaitseva's graphics, visitors will be able to see an original art doll. Valeria sought to find her own doll character, develop her own style of depiction and discover the character that interests the artist. Impressionism, painting and color are the hallmarks of Nadia Bakhtiguzina. Her paintings convey the artist's vivid, rich and colorful inner world. Despite the obvious differences in their artistic handwriting, these artists have much in common: they live and work in the same city and are actively exhibiting their work.
