A new section of the museum's exhibition has opened, telling the story of breeding Kholmogory geese of the Grayvoron type in the district. In the 1930s, a new breed of geese was developed at the Grayvoron State Breeding Nursery, distinguished from the classic type by a characteristic feature — a breast shaped like a protruding keel. In this section visitors can see taxidermied breeding geese, photographs of contemporary breeders, copies of archival documents, study materials on the breed standard and on the care of goslings and adult birds, and view thematic video segments filmed with the participation of local poultry farmers.
