A large-scale exhibition project dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry in Russia and the 75th anniversary of the city of Volgodonsk. It features extensive illustrative and informational materials and reveals the history of the formation and development of the country's nuclear sector. The first section of the exhibition tells how the Soviet atomic project began. The materials on display demonstrate how, in a short period of time, discoveries of global significance were achieved. Part of the exhibition is devoted to outstanding physicists I. V. Kurchatov, A. P. Alexandrov, Yu. B. Khariton and others. The project highlights real achievements in nuclear science and industry. Particular attention is paid to the State Corporation Rosatom, the leading nuclear enterprises of Volgodonsk — the Atommash plant and the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant — as well as twelve city enterprises related to the nuclear sector that make a significant contribution to Russia's nuclear industry today.
