Exhibition "Proud of the Glory of Don Heroes"

An exhibition project created as part of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, dedicated to the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of Russia who are residents of the eastern region of Rostov Oblast. Visitors can learn the biographies of heroes who liberated Soviet towns and villages and European countries from the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War — officers and enlisted personnel: pilots, sailors, tank crewmen, infantrymen, artillerymen, paratroopers, scouts, and special forces who fulfilled their duty to the Motherland in Afghanistan, defended the constitutional order in Chechnya and Dagestan in 1994–2002, and took part in combat operations in Syria; and Heroes of Russia who performed feats during the special military operation. The displays include photographs and award documents of heroes from different years: S. Zdorovtseva, A. Ermakova, A. Irinina, N. Chibisova, V. Popkova, A. Dyachenko, A. Antonova, and others.
