Exhibition "A Leader in the City's History"
About exhibition
Ivan Gavrilovich Gusev was the first city head who led Minusinsk at the end of the 19th century, during its heyday as the capital of the southern Yenisei Governorate, and largely laid the foundations for the city's subsequent respectable development. The travelling exhibition of 12 panels reveals the significance of I.G. Gusev for Minusinsk, conveying the history of major events in the city through his life. The core of the display consists of reproductions of original items, photographs and documents from the collections of the Minusinsk Regional Museum of Local Lore named after N.M. Martyanov and the Archive of the city of Minusinsk, accompanied by a brief historical note.
