Exhibition 'Frida Kahlo. Long Live Life!'
About exhibition
The exhibition introduces visitors to the works of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907–1954). Reproductions of paintings produced using the giclée technique (fine art digital printing) cover the main periods of her work. Around 70 works, from the earliest to paintings that sum up Frida Kahlo's life, will enable visitors to form a comprehensive understanding of the Mexican artist's influence on the development of 20th-century painting. The exhibition will also display reproductions of more than 30 photographs capturing Frida Kahlo with family members, friends, and political figures of the first half of the 20th century. All works are accompanied by explanatory texts. Guided tours will be organized for visitors.
