The exhibition "The Nature of Our Region" introduces residents and visitors to the flora and fauna of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The exhibition displays taxidermy specimens of animals and birds native to the Tyumen Polar region: sable, Arctic fox (white fox), red fox, mountain hare (white hare), squirrel, black grouse, capercaillie, turnstone, Eurasian nutcracker, and willow ptarmigan. The exhibition is complemented by informational panels on geology and mineral resources, climate, water resources, and the region's plant and animal life. It is located in the foyer on the museum's first floor.
