The museum's third floor is a single exhibition space made up of the following halls that can be visited: 'Physico-Geographical Position of Astrakhan Oblast'; 'Nature of the Volga Delta'; 'Nature of Deserts and Semi-Deserts'; 'Astrakhan Region in Antiquity'; 'The Golden Horde'; 'Astrakhan Region in the 16th–18th Centuries'; 'Settlement of the Astrakhan Region'. Each exhibition fully corresponds to its title. Here visitors can learn about the animals and plants of the Volga Delta, the features of the climate, which peoples inhabited the region in ancient times and what mark they left on its history, which types of industry developed, and much more.
