Exhibition “Eat, Heal, Live”
About exhibition
The largest communal house in the Soviet Union, built in the 1930s, became a haven for the families of Sverdlovsk’s creative and scientific-technical intelligentsia. One of its buildings, the so-called Communalized building, was later converted into a polyclinic. Today the premises of the former medical institution have been transformed into museum and art spaces filled with the voices and images of the past through artistic and media installations. Real stories of the residents of the famous complex, collected by participants of the museum project “Interview School,” became the basis for the new exhibition.
