Exhibition "The Age of Dinosaurs"
About exhibition
The exhibition project presents an exploration of Mesozoic-era fauna through paleontological finds and reconstructed models of ancient animals. The exhibition comprises five themed sections dedicated to the study of the evolution of ancient reptiles. It features life-size dinosaur skeletons, including a three-meter-tall Tarbosaurus, specimens from the collection of the Paleontological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and artworks by Konstantin Flerov depicting paleofauna. A separate section is devoted to the giant flightless bird Gastornis as an example of post-Mesozoic fauna. The exhibition demonstrates paleontological research methods and the process of reconstructing the appearance of extinct species. Themed guided tours are available for organized groups, explaining the principles of evolution and adaptation of ancient animals. Reservations by phone: 8 (34922) 4-78-34.
