Elena Sergeychuk Exhibition "Reflections"
About exhibition
The main idea of the exhibition is experimentation with materials and techniques. Visitors will see works created over the past five years in a variety of media (graphics, hot enamel, painting, glass fusing). Many of them will be shown to the general public for the first time. In her work the artist employs a wide palette of emotions, while the prevailing tone remains optimistic and life-affirming. The themes of portrait and self-portrait are explored by the artist as pictorial interpretations of specific individuals and as associations with archetypal figures. Intense color, as one of the principal means of expression in the hot enamel technique, aligns with the painterly expressiveness of the artist's style. The color scheme creates a vivid palette that reflects the artist's positive worldview. Elena Sergeychuk is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, a master of monumental-decorative art, a painter, and an associate professor at the Department of Monumental-Decorative Painting and Design named after V.G. Smagin at Irkutsk National Research Technical University (IRNITU).
