At the exhibition "Healthy Lifestyle: There Is No Alternative" exhibits from the Sanitary Museum are displayed. The collection consists of human internal organs with pathological changes, as well as fetal developmental anomalies. The exhibits are kept in special glass containers filled with an alcoholic solution (10% formalin). The exhibition provides a clear view of diseases of the heart and blood vessels; disorders of the central nervous system; diseases of the respiratory, digestive and genitourinary systems; and fetal developmental pathologies formed under the influence of the environment and harmful habits (smoking, alcoholism, parental drug addiction); as a result of genetic mutations, combined effects of mutations and environmental factors; and teratogenic (malformation-causing) agents. The exhibition plays an important role in public health education and in promoting a healthy lifestyle among the republic’s population, especially young people.
