Eco-journey exhibition "Zapovednoe Belogorye"

About exhibition

The exhibits introduce visitors to the protected areas, reserves and natural monuments of the Belgorod region, the history of their establishment and study, and the characteristics of the region’s flora and fauna. Photographs and documents illustrating nature conservation activities in the Belgorod Region are displayed, as well as the uniforms of state environmental protection inspectors. A significant part of the exhibition is occupied by animal group displays, taxidermy specimens of mammals and birds, and insect collections, including rare species. Among the exhibits are items from the collections of the Belgorod State Museum of History and Local Lore, as well as items provided by the Belogorye State Nature Reserve and by the Department of Specially Protected Natural Areas of the regional state autonomous institution "Valuysky Leskhoz".
