Exhibition "Dymkovo Toy: 20th to Early 21st Century"

The exhibition showcases the craft in its staged development over the course of a century and in the full variety of traditional figurines, subjects and original compositions. You will see rare works by A. Mezrina, E. Penkina and E. Koshkina. The mid-20th-century craft is revealed in the works of O. Konovalova, E. Koss-Denshina, E. Koshkina, Z. Bezdenezhnykh and Z. Penkina. The toys by L. Falaleeva, N. Trukhina, V. Plemyannikova, A. Kuzminykh, A. Trefilova, E. Smirnova and Z. Kazakova reflect the main trends and artistic explorations of the second half of the 20th century. Virtually all the craftswomen working in the Dymkovo tradition in the early 2000s are represented by individual works.
