In 2002, Elena Vladimirovna Mayakovskaya visited Davlekanovo — her mother's birthplace — for the first and only time. Her mother was Elizaveta Petrovna Zibert, the daughter of the large landowner Petr Zibert in Davlekanovo; her father was Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky, the Russian poet. The exhibition displays original items donated by Elena Mayakovskaya to the Davlekanovo Local History Museum during her 2002 visit, as well as exhibits that belonged to the Zibert family. Visitors will also be presented with the remarkable story of Vladimir Mayakovsky's meeting with Elli Zibert in New York.
