Exhibition "The House I Live In"
About exhibition
The exhibition transports visitors into the everyday life of Soviet youth who came to work in a rapidly growing northern city. The exhibition "The House I Live In" invites guests on a journey through Soviet domestic interiors of the 1960s–1980s. Here you can see archival film footage, audio recordings of letters from Komsomol members who took part in Surgut's construction projects. Photographs and objects from the collection of the Surgut Local History Museum tell how people from different parts of the country built the city, set up their daily lives, and became residents of Surgut.
