The exhibition "Meshkov House: The Space of Perm History" is dedicated to the history of Perm Krai from the earliest times to the end of the 20th century. The mining-and-manufacturing civilization — the world of the creators of Ural industry. Urban culture — the world of city dwellers. The peasant culture of Prikamye — the world of bearers of traditional culture. Revolutionary culture — the world of the heroes of revolutionary events and the Civil War. The culture of Soviet society — the world of the Soviet individual. The culture of post-Soviet society — the world of people at the turn of the millennium. In the halls you can see an excellent collection of Permian animal style, Old Believer icons of the 18th century, rare manuscripts and early printed books, and the crosier of Saint Stephen of Perm, the first bishop and enlightener of the Perm lands and the creator of the Komi-Permyak alphabet.
