Exhibition "Duty. Honor. Courage."
About exhibition
Exhibition presents the history of the formation and development of Russia's special purpose units from their creation in the 1950s to the present day. The heroes are the personnel of Soviet and Russian special forces units. The core of the exposition is the recollections of veterans of the Soviet special forces who took part in global military conflicts, participants in combat operations in the North Caucasus, and the special military operation. The story of these people of honor is told through original documents, rare photographs, personal belongings, and memorial items. Footage from popular domestic films that created the distinctive image of the special forces soldier will complement the overall perception of the profession. For the first time to a wide audience, artifacts from the sites of the special military operation are presented: the nose section of a cluster munition rocket, fragments of a "HIMARS" projectile, and the engine of a fixed-wing UAV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The exhibition hall displays 20 examples of individual small arms, from the Kalashnikov assault rifle to the latest models.
