Exhibition 'Let There Be Light!'
About exhibition
The exhibition features lighting fixtures from the mid-19th to the 20th centuries from the collections of the Tyumen Museum and Educational Association. Visitors will see bronze, brass, metal and porcelain candlesticks, as well as kerosene lamps from the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods. The candlesticks and kerosene lamps were part of urban household life, alongside tableware, clothing and everyday items from the early 20th century displayed in the Masharov House museum. Also on display are unique artistic works from the Skopin art ceramics workshop and the Gzhel Porcelain Factory.
