About exhibition

The exhibition presents the everyday life of the Russian people. Visitors will learn about traditional clothing, household items, tools, crafts and daily life, where every activity was connected with nature, labor and folk wisdom. Alongside the visual presentation (the display of a museum object), each exhibit is paired with a Russian folk riddle. Numerous proverbs, sayings, nursery rhymes and other forms of oral folk creativity expand the understanding of the exhibits.
