Exhibition 'I Will Not Give My Honor to Anyone'
About exhibition
The exhibition is dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the Russian army's victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. The exhibition space presents examples of cold and firearm weapons: officer's sword (1798), soldier's cavalry pistol (1809), cavalry musketoon (1788). An elegant example of French armament is a ceremonial officer's sword from the early 19th century, donated to the Pskov Museum-Reserve by the Governor of Pskov Oblast, M. Yu. Vedernikov. A unique exhibit is the banner of the Pskov militia from the Mikhailovsky Cathedral of the Holy Dormition of the Pskov-Caves Monastery depicting the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, which dates to the late 18th – early 19th century.
