About exhibition
The exhibition introduces the history of the emergence and development of Komi‑Permyak writing and literature. On display are photographs of the founders of Komi‑Permyak literature — M. P. Likhachev (1901–1937) and A. N. Zubov (1899–1937); scholars and institutions that made a significant contribution to the study and preservation of the language; rare editions — children's and educational literature of the 1920s–1930s; the first primers; the Permyak–Russian and Russian–Permyak dictionary by N. A. Rogov (1869); 20th‑century fiction; translations of Russian classics; and the latinized alphabet 'Shypassez' (1933) created by M. P. Likhachev.
